For our dessert tonight I made these yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes. I found the recipe on a website called Our Best Bites . You can't see here, but inside these little guys there are gooey Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. It was hard waiting for them to cool so I could frost them. Gavin kept asking if they were ready yet.

I love this little smirk.

Brayden and His Toys
Brayden loves to play under these hanging toys. He hits or kicks the chimes and tries to bat at his yellow and orange giraffe. When he gets excited he moves his arms and legs as fast as he can.

Chloe's Dinostars Play
Chloe has been singing the Dinostars songs for weeks and practicing her joke. Her line was, "What do you get if you cross a pig with a dinosaur?" The other kids say, "Don't know." Then she says, "Jurassic Pork!" Chloe loved being a part of this 1st grade play.

Chloe and Dylan
Chloe loved her long tail. I made it out of a the top strip of a sheet. At first I was going to use a large foam tube for her tail, but Chloe wasn't excited about that. One morning she brought up a tail that she had made. She had taken a number of foam sheets and stapled and taped them together. Then she stuffed it with bating. That is when I decided I better make a tail for her.
All the 1st graders helped paint the scenery. Chloe helped with the Volcano.
No more pictures Mom!

Errands
Today I had a number of errands to run. I was sure that Brayden would wake up and fuss at some point. He really doesn't like to be strapped into his car seat. To my surprise he slept through the whole thing. He looked so peaceful.
Giving Brayden Love
Gavin and Chloe love Brayden. They come looking for him each morning so that they can give him hugs and kisses.
Can you ever get to much love?
Happy Kids!

FHE
For Family Home Evening Randy used our big white board to illustrate the Plan of Salvation. When we were done the kids wanted to draw on the board. We started talking about how much bigger Gavin and Chloe are compared to Brayden. The kids decided that we needed to trace everybody's hands on the board.
Chloe wanted to add the numbers.
We had a hard time opening Brayden's hand so that we could trace his hand.
Gavin and Chloe were proud of their work.

Look At Me Grow
Brayden has grown so much. He is really filling out.
I see a smile in those eyes and lips
Brayden is going to out grow his teddy bear in no time.
Hi Mom! Look at me playing with my toys.
Brayden sleeps like this all the time.
I know he is sound asleep when his hands go up above his head.
Little Bits
Brayden is so handsome. I wanted to catch the individual parts that make up Brayden.
Baby blue eyes and fine blonde eyebrows
Cute little fist. He has strong hands.
His little folded ear. They are so cute.
I love his sweet little lips and nose.

Monkey Boy
Brayden was looking too cute today. I had to get a couple of pictures of him on Gavin's monkey blanket that was made by his grandma. Gavin loves to share his blanket with Brayden. He wants Grandma to make one for Brayden so that they can have matching blankets.

Teddy Bear Measure Up
Brayden has gotten so big. Look at how he measures up to his teddy bear.

Mother's Day Pictures
I was able to convince the kids to keep their church clothes on after church and take some pictures by reminding them that it was still Mother's Day. They were very cooperative. Even baby Brayden played along, even though it was time for him to eat. I love my kids.
Mother's Day Brunch
Today we had family over for a Mother's Day brunch. Brayden was an added bonus. Randy and his brother Michael served Monte Cristo sandwiches, fresh strawberries, bananas and orange juice for brunch. It was delicious!
Grandma (Randy's mom) with Brayden. She loves her new grandson.
Chloe had to take a turn holding her brother.
Brayden always looks surprised in his pictures with Chloe.

Michael and his son Kasey made these delicious sandwiches for all of us.
There are three slices of French toast, some ham, a slice of Swiss cheese,
some turkey, and a slice of American cheese in each sandwich. You can dust the sandwich with powdered sugar and dip it in strawberry jam or syrup or both. I know the ingredients sound very odd together, but they are absolutely yummy. This is definitely a special occasion meal.
